Media Twenty20 Cricket Tournament
It’s going to be the first of its kind when almost all the newspapers,
electronic channels and even online reporters and photo journalists would be
seen in action in the Media Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, beginning from April
9, at the KD Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium under the auspices of the Kaivalya
Communication, a leading brand management company.
Kaivalya’s head Vishal Mishra
informed that invitations have been extended to the media houses like Dainik
Jagran, Times of India, Hindustan Times, The Pioneer, DNA, Swatantra Bharat,
Voice of Lucknow, Dainik Aaj, Electronic Media XI, defending champions
Doodarshan-AIR, Business Standard, Amar Ujala, Rastriya Sahara, Gaon
Connection, Online Reporters XI, Business Standard, The Indian Express and The
Youth Photo Journalists Association.
“It’s for the first time when a brand
management company like Kaivalya has taken the initiative to conduct the event,
which will not only help the media persons to showcase their cricketing ability
on the ground, but also take out some time to enjoy the fun of the gentlemen’s
game,” states Vishal.
Entry closes on April 7 afternoon,
whereas the draw will be made in the evening on the same day at the KD Singh
‘Babu’ Stadium. The tournament will be played with white balls and in coloured
dress. The final is slated for April 20.
