Kunskapsskolan organizes a boost up program for kids
Lucknow, April 3, 2016: The chain of Sweden’s reputed Kunskapsskolan reputed
Schools, after the grand success in Delhi NCR, brings
the world of International education to Lucknow. Kunskapsskolan
is the first school in India to align KED program with CBSE
curriculum. The school on Friday has organized an event comprising various activities
for children to boost their learning capacity. The event was conducted in the
noon at Phoneix Mall.
While interacting with media, Academic Head Mr. Linus
Gellerstedt said: “Kunskapsskolan is a chain of over 60 schools across the world and
now also in Lucknow which offers
students the opportunity to pursue different academic and non-academic
interests. In order to enhance their abilities, the school organised an event
which consisted of Magic Show, Puppet Show, Poem round, Eye
Stare, Puzzle/quiz contest and Lucky Draw.”
“In the puzzle section, we plan to
hand out printed puzzle to the participants to test children's power of
observation. They would be expected to search and find a number of items from
the image given to them within a specified time. A quiz for ages groups
5-7 and 8-10 will be conducted where kids will be asked a set of questions.
Winners will get a prize,” added Mr. Linus Gellerstedt.
India has a great culture of learning, be it the Guru-Shishya parampara or the belief in
Vasudhaiv Kutumbakum – the concept of a global community. It is imperative to
have an educational concept as impressive as KED that provides Indian students
with an opportunity to imbibe this intrinsic national ethos within a global
learning perspective.
