'Sham-E-Ghazal' A Tribute to Ghazal King Lt. Jagjit Singh


  Lucknow, February 8, 2016: Swaraj event organizers & Quaere Technologies together arranged a gala musical evening "Sham-E-Ghazal" presented by Shine City to give tribute to one of the most popular Indian Ghazal singers, composer and musician Padma Bhushan Lt. Jagjit Singh.Ghanshyam Vaswani one of the brilliant student of Lt. Jagjit Singh from Mumbai  & Lucknowite Kamal Khan, the two singers set the tone for the mellifluous evening at SNA, Vipin Khand, Gomati Nagar. There was Mr. Arvind Kumar Singh ‘Gope’, the Cabinet Minister as the chief guest as well as the SNA President Mr. Acchelaal Soni to put more glamour to the evening.

 Speaking on the occasion, Rashid Naseem, Chairman, Shine City said: "Jagjit Singh, the legend Ghazal singer, gave a new direction to the Indian music industry. He took Ghazal singing to the next level and contributed immensely to popularize this stream of music among all age groups. Although it's been five years that he left us but he still rules our hearts and souls. In fact, I am also a big fan of his silky voice. So now on the occasion of his birth anniversary, Shine City wants to pay a sincere tribute to the great Ghazal king. We salute him and his singing."The two singers proved to be real crackerjacks  who, through their mesmerizing performance, kept the audience glued to their seats till the end.
