Detox Mantra for Hoildays.............
Lucknow 29 Dec. 12: Christmas and New Year is on the way and so is the time for holidays, long weekends and family vacations. Everyone wants to fully enjoy them and look their very best during this time.  But fully enjoying a vacation and stepping out of our routine is an extremely important component of keeping balance.  During holidays and that too specially in winters,  going beyond normal eating and drinking happens which results in weight gain and toxin accumulation resulting in  feeling of heaviness and uneasiness at the end of vacations. So, it becomes all the more important to remain perfect on the weighing scale and feel the best both before and after the holidays.

Namita Jain (Celebrity Nutritionist) of Diet Mantra said “Detox is not only important for pre and post holiday time but it is also required as many new factors that have come into being since evolution given us our present detox abilities. Pesticides, herbicides, and heavy metals are new environmental stresses and have been entering the food chain. We are forever in pursuit of new and more complicated lifestyles that we think will make us happy. We “party” more in an attempt to relieve stress, yet we only make the situation worse. Also with advancement , new inventions and technology has brought us a package of toxin materials including  radon, carbon monoxide, asbestos, lead poisoning, and still unnamed carcinogens that make detoxification a challenge to every organ in the body. We eat more new generation  “fast foods”, more “trans fats” and less “good fats.” The majority of the population now believes that a diet low in fat will bring them good health and the body they dreamed of.  But the reality is that we cannot get this detoxification done without help.”
